| DATA PROCESSORS (06/04/2009) |
|
Data Processor positions vary depending on end client and software. The role generally involves the processing of survey date to produce charts of surveyed sites. 
Multiple sensors collect high volume data sets in analogue and digital format which the data processor then edits, collates and interprets to produce charts or databases. This work is generally performed in an offshore environment alongside data acquisition operations.
Projects involving Data Processors include offshore pipeline inspection surveys, cable installations, sea and ocean charting or environmental studies. Durations can be from 7-10 days to a regular 4 week onshore/4 week offshore rotation, in various locations throughout the world.
Software packages include Eiva, Qinsy, VisualSoft and Autocad.
Qualifications: Minimum HND in a survey, engineering subject or cartographic discipline. Related military or industrial training or processing experience is also acceptable..

| PLOUGH, LAY EQUIPMENT, TRENCHING AND ROV PERSONNEL (06/04/2009) |

ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) and Trenching positions vary depending on end client and ROV/Trenching system. The role generally involves the operation and maintenance of ROV systems.
ROV personnel need to be able to maintain as well as operate the ROV/Trencher.
Projects involving ROV personnel can include inspection, construction and survey work and pipeline/cable burial. Durations can be from 7-10 days to a regular 4 week onshore/4 week offshore rotation, in various locations throughout the world.
Qualifications: Minimum HND in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or electronic engineering. Related military or industrial training is also acceptable. Minimum of one years operational experience.

Surveyor positions vary depending on end client and software. The role generally involves data acquisition and survey positioning. 
The Surveyor is involved in all aspects of ocean data from mapping the ocean floor to finding the minerals that lie beneath. The Surveyor also installs and operates positioning sensors to position vessels and structures above and below the water and is responsible for the data processing stage through to final reporting stage.
Projects involving Surveyors include offshore pipeline inspection surveys, cable installations, sea and ocean charting or environmental studies. Durations can be from 7-10 days to a regular 4 week onshore/4 week offshore rotation, in various locations throughout the world.
Software packages include Eiva, Qinsy and company specific in-house software.
Qualifications: University Degree in surveying (hydrographic or land), topographic science or related discipline. Related military or industrial training is also acceptable. Minimum of one years operational experience.
