OCEANSCAN SALES ENGINEER TOOK PART IN HIGHLAND 3 SERIES KICKBOXING TOURNAMENT (19/05/2010)
Oceanscan Sales Engineer, Steven Evans took part in the Highland 3 Series Kickboxing Tournament which was held at the Craig MacLean Leisure Centre in Grantown on Spey on Sunday May 9th. Steven who fights out of Dragon Kickboxing Academy was competing in the Veterans (over 35) Semi-Contact section. Entering the section in the Quarter final stage, Steven won his first fight by 5 – 1 and progressed to the semi-finals. In a close fought Semi-Final Steven lost 2 – 1. He was then involved in a 3rd place fight off which he won 3 – 1. By claiming 3rd place Steven received an invitation to represent Scotland at the WUMA World Championships being staged November this year in Sicily.
