A Bathymetric system is the most accurate instrument for the measurement of depth and altitude of a submerged body such as a Remotely Operated underwater Vehicle. The Subsea Unit incorporates the most accurate pressure sensor available with built-in correction for water temperature and, if required, salinity measured as conductivity.

A light weight, compact and rugged subsea unit houses all the sensors and electronics for accurate pressure, temperature and depth measurements, all of which are transmitted through a single coaxial, or twisted pair to the surface processor.
