APPLIED ACOUSTICS 935H MIDI BEACON/TRANSPONDERS
Applied Acoustic Engineering manufacture a range of 144 channel acoustic transponders that are ompatible with the following acoustic positioning systems:
SIMRAD HPR 300/400 series Hydroacoustic Positioning Reference System
SIMRAD HiPAP (High Precision Acoustic Positioning System)
ORE Trackpoint II/LXT Ultra Short Baseline System
SONARDYNE Ultra Short Baseline System
MIDI BEACONS
The standard AAE Midi beacons are depth rated to 2000m and provide the user with a beacon that has additional power for survey operations in deeper water. The Midi beacons are supplied in two housing lengths. The longer housing provides the user with a beacon that has additional batteries for longer operation.
There is a +/- 90 degree beacon and a higher power +/- 45 degree beacon in the Midi range of beacons. With these beam patterns, the Midi Beacon offers the user a reliable cost effective alternative to other manufacturers beacons with added benefits.
