ARIS Rotator AR2
With the Sound Metrics ARIS Rotator ARâ‚‚ you can easily and accurately aim the ARIS Explorer, allowing 2-axis control of pan and tilt, or tilt and roll.
In the pan/tilt mode, the ARâ‚‚ rotates a full 360º to enable complete imaging of the surrounding environment.
In the tilt/roll mode, varying the roll angle on a target can provide a 3D-like perspective, or can roll 90º to switch between horizontal and vertical imaging modes. Manual and automated control is simple using the intuitive ARIScope software interface.
Both the sonar and the ARâ‚‚ operate on a single standard cable.
